Campaign Management service
Campaigns usually consist of two phases – Feasibility Study and Campaign Management.

The Feasibility Study occurs prior to the campaign and addresses the following questions:
  • Do the members support the project?
  • Is the campaign goal achievable?
  • Who are the key members of the church/agency who need to be involved for the campaign to succeed?
The Campaign Management phase:
  • Helps the church get organized for the campaign.
  • Helps identify the campaign leadership.
  • Trains volunteers.
  • Helps develop materials.
  • Helps plan and manage the necessary events (solicitation of major donors, kick-off event, victory celebration).
Morning Star additionally offers:
  • Aid in applying for grants.
  • Assistance to individuals who wish to donate stocks and appreciated securities to the campaign – from receipt, to gift acknowledgement, to sale, to the distribution of the proceeds.
  • Knowledge regarding how to promote and accept gifts of real property to the campaign.

MMFA’s planned giving service can help church members fulfill their campaign commitments using charitable gift annuities, trusts, etc.
