Who We Are
The Moravian Ministries Foundation in America (MMFA) is an agency of the Moravian Church in America, a Protestant denomination with over 500 years of history focusing on faithful living and Christian unity. Part of the worldwide Moravian Church, the Moravian Church in America is comprised of the Northern and Southern Provinces, serving nearly 160 congregations and 50,000 members in 17 U.S. states and two Canadian provinces.

MMFA has a unique role of promoting stewardship among Moravians, churches, and agencies. In 1998 the Synods of the Northern and Southern Provinces of the Moravian Church in America authorized its formation, thereby replacing two independent planned giving programs that had formerly served the separate provinces. MMFA is an inter-provincial agency chartered in North Carolina and an IRS approved 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
