As we approach the Moravian Day of Service this September 18, you might first visualize giving your time and talent. Work in a community garden. Build a Habitat for Humanity house. Prepare and serve a meal to the hungry. There are so many ways to serve – and gifts of time and talent are desperately needed. I pray that you will serve in this way if you can.
But 1 Corinthians 12: 5-6 tells us, “There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.”
Serving God with your treasure is also important. Not everyone is physically able to build a house or hoe a garden. Not everyone has the time.
Gifts of your treasure to the Moravian Field of Interest Funds enable others to serve with their time and talent. The central idea of the Field of Interest Funds is to make grants that make ministry possible from a financial perspective. This type of service is also desperately needed.
It is easy and fast. Click here to go to the Moravian Giving Portal now. Scroll to the Field of Interest Funds and serve God with your treasure.
